Welcome to Restaurant Schiff in Romanshorn – online

Restaurant Schiff is one of the most beautiful and likely one of the oldest historic restaurants in the region. Originally built around 1750, it was rebuilt after a fire in 1840 and took on its current Swiss heritage style around 1900. Until about 60 years ago, the building also operated as a hotel with a banquet hall. In 1980, the winter garden was added, and in 2014 the former fuel tank was transformed into a cozy wine cellar.

Starting in January 2026, the restaurant will be taken over by the Sermek family – a name well known in Romanshorn. Many guests will remember Dejan Sermek and his team from the former “Brasserie im Bahnhof,” which he ran with great passion for many years.

Wine Cellar als online Broschüre als pdf download

Our wine cellar was completely renovated in 2014. We are currently working together with our supplier on developing a new wine concept, with selections curated carefully and with expert knowledge.

Following this new orientation, our wine cellar will also serve as a space for various activities. It can be rented for wine tastings as well as for events centred around wine, cheese, or other culinary delights.

All prices include VAT.
